I unreservedly recommend Kim Arenas as listing agent for someone selling a high-end home. I am not a real estate professional, but I have engaged in over a dozen real estate transactions over the years, and worked with many realtors.  While I have known Kim personally for several years, I had not worked professionally with her until recently.  Together we worked on a fairly complicated transaction involving a premium single family home.  She was indefatigable in seeing the transaction through to closing.

 

On a personal level I know Kim as a woman of high energy, high integrity, and a buoyant personality.  But until recently I did not really know Kim as a professional.  Having worked through two recent transactions, I can attest that her market knowledge, enthusiasm, honesty and – perhaps most importantly – tenacity make her an excellent choice for a realtor. 

 

I work in finance and am constantly working on transactions large and small.  Of course my deals are of a very different nature. But in evaluating people I have a simple metric that I use, normally keeping it to myself.  I divide the world of professionals I deal with into “closers” and everybody else.  I think that after 25 years in finance I can identify such people.  The proof is in the closing.  There are always 10 reasons why a transaction will fail.  Some people manage to tackle obstacle after obstacle until the deal is done and the checks are cleared.  Kim is such a person.  I recognize in her that tenaciousness that leads to success.  Plus, she’s a lot of fun to work with and uncompromising in her professional integrity. 

 

When I consider selling, I would not hesitate to enlist Kim as the listing agent.  And I would be confident that she would get the home sold at the best price.

          Having lived in our home for over 35 years, admittedly we had no idea what to expect regarding the process of selling a house, especially in today’s volatile market. She even helped us find a reliable moving company. Everyone talks about the ordeals they experience when selling a house. We don’t have any “horror” stories and attribute this to Kim Arenas. She went far and above what we ever expecting from our broker from our initial meeting to the closing and beyond.
